What is Orkut Manager?
Orkut manager is an Add-on Designed for Firefox. It help us to use the various features bringing Orkut.
- Installing Orkut manger:- For installing orkut manger you must follow these steps.
- You must have Firefox version 3.5 or Above. if you donot have it please Download it from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/personal.html
- Download/ install orkut manger Addon from https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/45353
- Check let me install this experimental and click on Add to Firefox.
What are the features of Orkut Manager?
- Quote:- You can Quote the post in the Community topic.
Click on the Quote a new page will open with the information about user who posted.
to use the multi-quote (multiple quotes) press and hold SHIFT click on QUOTE the message You are quoting and in final press on QUOTE .
- Toolbar :- You can format the messages / posts / scraps with ease
There are two types of toolbar, which works in communities where HTML is allowed in certain setting of the community by the developer of the Community, and the community without this feature.
- The buttons of the Toolbar with HTML are :- Bold, italic, underline, strike out, align left, center, right, justify, Blink( Blinking effect to the text ) Link; Image; Code (convert text to HTML, spaces appear to have been placed, etc.); Spoiler Alert; Quote mark (quoting phrases from someone), Return (enter HTML) Encrypt (encodes the message so that only users can read the OM), Decrypt (decrypts the message), DateTime (add date and time configurable) In-links (converts text links including verification CAPTCHA SPAM and Orkut), Background (background color of the text); Color (text color), Emoticons, Font (font type the letter) ; font-size (font size); Bigger (increases supply), Smaller (decreases the source). The same applies to the toolbar without HTML, entertaining resources are limited.
Quick Reply :- You can respond quickly to a topic
The button "qreply" or "fast response" you can respond by creating the post one topic on the same page you are reading, running even, somehow, like a chat. For all fields where you will post a comment or post, you can use shortcut keys that can be configured.
- Settings :- You configure your Orkut Manager, Import / Export.
You can configure various things such as language, shortcuts, colors, signature menus, quote formats, images, among other things. To open the settings press CTRL-SHIFT-F1 or go to Tools' Orkut Manager "Config" or right click the icon of the OM in the lower right corner and click Config
- Favourites :- You can add communities and topics to Favorites
Adding to favorites communities and topics of the OM, they were on a list for easy access.
Other features :-
- Main Kill:- Removes Main# from orkut pages. Doesn't bug the album. External links with Main# works (also MSN and other programs).
- Message prefix, suffix and signature:- You can enter any text to be the default text for all your posts/scraps. You may create two configuration, one for communities that allow HTML and other for the ones that blocks it.
- Bookmarks:- Click on the star to bookmark it, you can add communities and topics to the lists and check them on the new tabs in communities page.
- MenuDD & MenuHD:- Dropdown menu (MenuDD) turns the orkut logo into a menu where you can configure the way you want. Header menu (MenuHD) allows you to erase all links on the right side of the orkut logo and make your menus or just add new menus to the existing ones.
- Scrapbook manager::- Controls your scrap showing you any new messages. On the scrapbook page it shows you if you have spam on your spam folder.
- Member approve:- If enabled, shows next to you email a link "Approve(x)" where "x" means member pending approval on some community you own. On a community page you see, if you are a mod, a link "Pending(x)" under members that is the members pending for that community. Mods are now enabled to accept all members at once.
- Moderating a community:- You can set a topic as the "moderation log" and then when you delete a topic/post/poll you can register a log entry with a couple of clicks.
- Chat:- You can set a topic as a chat, it will attach a box on the left side of the community and update every 15 seconds by default.
- Community listing:- Every 10 seconds (by default) the list will update showing you if the community has new members and/or new posts

In order to view the user scripts right click on the monkey logo in bottom right of your screen and choose 'manage user scripts'
In the window, you will have all your installed user scripts listed.
You can uninstall, edit, and perform other operations in this window.
Note:-These GM scripts are not working in the new version of orkut , So If you want to use these scripts ,switch the older version of orkut
